Strawberry Protein Smoothie
My daughter’s favorite after school snack is plain Greek yogurt topped with fresh strawberries, granola, and honey.  One day she asked me to make her a smoothie and so I decided to combine 3 of those ingredients and made what turned out to be a berrylicious creamy smoothie.  It is also super easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes.  Now it has become one of her top 3 favorite after school snacks.  For those of you who like me are lactose intolerant, I also have the Ultra Healthy Berry Spinach Protein Smoothie recipe that my youngest son LOVES!  I’ll be posting that recipe in the coming days. Ingredients:
1 cup halved strawberries
1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon granola to garnish (optional)

Directions:
Combine strawberries, yogurt, and honey in blender and blend on high power until smooth.  Sprinkle granola on top and garish glass with a strawberry.
